Leon, Nicaragua – WATT Renewable Corporation partnered with local installers to complete the installation of 180 solar panels with a nominal capacity of 50kW and an energy storage capacity of 144kWh of high efficiency Nickel Iron batteries. This project represents a significant economic infrastructural development project for the city of Leon as it brings power many in area where of the city where power would otherwise be extremely expensive. After over one month of construction the roof mounted hybrid energy system was successfully commissioned.
